Privacy Policy

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how NIXA Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through its websites, products, services, support workflows, and customer communications.
Chie has its own product-specific policy set. Chie users should also review the Chie Privacy Policy, Chie Terms, and Chie AI and Data Processing Notice.
2. Information we collect
We may collect account, contact, support, billing, beta access, product interest, and communication information that you provide to NIXA.
For NIXA products, we may collect product data needed to provide the service, such as user-submitted records, account settings, usage events, processing status, and support records.
When payments are enabled, payment processing is handled by payment providers such as Stripe. NIXA does not intend to store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
3. How we use information
- To provide, secure, operate, and improve NIXA websites, products, and services.
- To manage accounts, billing, cancellation, refunds, customer support, and policy requests.
- To transform user-entrusted data into product features, insight, recommendations, and decision support.
- To detect abuse, protect systems, debug issues, and comply with legal obligations.
- To communicate important account, service, policy, or security updates.
4. Service providers
NIXA may use third-party providers for hosting, storage, databases, payments, email, SMS, OCR, AI processing, analytics, security, and customer support. These providers are used to operate the services and should process data only for NIXA service purposes.
5. AI and automated processing
Some NIXA products may use OCR, document parsing, language models, embeddings, or other automated processing to provide product features. We design these systems around data minimization, privacy boundaries, and user benefit.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information or user records. We may disclose information to service providers, when directed by the user, to comply with law, to prevent fraud or abuse, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction involving NIXA.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect systems, and comply with legal obligations. Users may request deletion or export where applicable by contacting the appropriate support address.
8. Security
NIXA uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. Systems may use encryption, tokenization, compartmentalization, access controls, and layered security boundaries. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
9. Children
NIXA services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about certain processing. For NIXA requests, contact support@nixainc.com. For Chie PI Beta requests, contact beta@chie.house.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as NIXA products, providers, laws, or business operations change. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes.
